B16 and B18 are the same engines, identical, the B18 is just a tad taller. Transmissions are the same, mounts are the same, the way they sit are the the same. go for a B18C engine, 9GSR or Type R), and boost it. if you plan rebuilding the engine, get some CP or Weisco pistons, Eagle rods, ACL race bearings, Cometic head gasket, ARP head studs, and you are looking to make safe 350 wheel horse power all day everyday. you can even sometimes get into the 400whp mark. My car puts down 427whp on a simular set up, but i also upgraded my head. good luck with the build!

Tell me about it! i have a build going, $13000 in just the engine and transmission! Thats not counting the car, the suspention, the wheels, the breaks, fuel system...... Good build costs a lot of money.
