Default Blew my engine:( Almoast done re-building

I let it rip, supercharger kicked in, brought it to 8200 rpm in 4th gear and right at the moment of shifting I lost power. I let off, but the car started spurttering, and I noticed smoke behind me and a little inside the car. I kept on driving home, but finally after 20 minute drive I pulled in my street and there was like a big sneeze from the engine and all of a sudden all the smoke came up. Looked like it was on fire. I popped the hood, and saw that the compression from one or more cylinders was building up in the valve cover, and it blew out the valve cover gasket. So from this I think my head gasket went, but will know for sure when I pull the head off.

Since I am going to have it apart, I will put in a block guard, Cometic head gasket, and ARP head studs. That should be able to hold together very well.

I kind of knew that it was inevitable. At times I was pushing 10psi. I just hoped it wouldn't be this soon.

I just hope its the head gasket like I think it is. If all goes smooth, should have it running by this weekend.
